Lottie Drynan You've Gut This My Tummy Diary

Hi! I’m Lottie and I’m so happy to have you here. If you don't already know me from The Tummy Diaries, I’m an excitable foodie, fashion lover (of the elasticated waistband variety), keen runner, and am passionate about using my story to help others. Being one of the one-in-five of us living with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), a few years ago I decided to create my blog and Instagram account The Tummy Diaries and have been oversharing there ever since.

I write about the super-glamorous struggles of IBS and bloating, talking openly about my journey with anxiety and mental health. I am a big advocate of the emerging science on the gut-brain connection and regularly share stories on how understanding the link between the two helped me regain control of my illness and life.

One thing I’ve learnt since starting my blog and social platforms is that as lonely as an illness can make us feel, we very rarely are actually alone. Being part of an ever-growing positive community filled with those who support, share and raise each other is what keeps me going and is exactly what inspired me to create ‘You’ve Gut This’.

As much as I love sharing on The Tummy Diaries, it is still a personal blog and if we’re honest, is kinda mainly about me. So I wanted to create something that is all about YOU - something that we can build together as a community and all really feel a part of.

You’ve Gut This is for every single one of you who’s navigating a life with gut health issues. It’s a place to go to when you’re struggling and need picking up, a place of support and ideas. It's a place to share your stories and actually feel heard. A place to help gain a better understanding of your own body and mind.

Over the next few months and beyond you can expect to see blog posts, tips from the experts, events and more. And of course, the brand new gut health diary and symptom tracker 'My Tummy Diary' which I've been beavering away at for the past six months.

Make sure you sign up to the newsletter, give us a follow on Instagram and join our lovely little You’ve Gut This Facebook support group

Thank you for being such an important part of this community, and remember - you've totally gut this.

Lots of love,

Lottie x
